- I am a pastor missionary living in Taiwan. I was a pastor in the USA for 22 years, a Firefighter (instructor evaluator) EMT for nearly 10 years, and a Railroad conductor for 2 years. As I still collect toys, watch and read SciFi, and build models I gather that I just don't know what I want to do when I grow up. I KNOW that God is faithful even when I am not. Don't base the value of the message on the worth of the messanger... you would end up missing the most important news you have ever heard.

Those vids are just RICH! It's marvelous you can retain your trademark wry humor over the many months of pain & frustration.
Those stones almost look like peach pits or crystals from 7th grade science class.

I don't know how I stumbled on your blog Michael. My wife is from Pingtung and we have a home there but we are currently based in Madrid. I recently broke my leg -- pretty badly but still not sure I want to trade for your stones -- and was surfing one afternoon when I found both Sandy's and your blogs. Good fun and good attitudes. I love Taiwan and we will be back to visit in January. Best time of year in Pingtung!
Sorry about the leg... I think I WOULD trade if I was you... at least I am ambulatory. Glad you found our blogs... not that I do much posting. Please, when you come, give us a shout and we can drink tea or have a meal.
